Tirana, December 3, 2018/ Albanian Media Institute and the International Federation of Journalists are seeking project proposals on initiatives on advocating, promoting and improving labour standards on one hand, and on promoting and improving ethical and professional media standards, on the other hand. This call for proposals is part of the project “Towards Improved Labour Relations and Professionalism in the Albanian Media,” supported by the European Union and implemented in Albania by Albanian Media Institute and International Federation of Journalists.
The call for proposals is open to Albanian media associations and media organizations working in the media field, more specifically in the area of labour rights in the media, media ethics and professionalism, and media development.
Two types of projects will be supported:
– Actions strengthening organizational and institutional capacities of active Albanian media associations and media organizations;
– Actions promoting and protecting journalists’ rights and media professionalism.
The budget for this call for proposals is 75,000 Euro. The requested grants must fall between 15,000 – 20,000 Euro.
Duration of projects should be between 6 and 9 months.
