The main topics addressed in the manual include the international principles of children rights in the media, the way they are transposed in the national legislaiton, as well as the rules drafted on media professional coverage of children. A specific section is devoted to media and information literacy for children, summarizing the context in the country in this regard, as well as the respective recommendations. In addition, the manual addresses relevant issues related to children and online safety, pornography, bullyism, etc. The use of social networks, with its pros and cons of including children in online media, is also part of the manual.
